The Bristal NY and NJ stellar provider of luxury senior living residences and services.  At the present time, we are looking for a talented Sales Professional to help sell our beautiful and luxurious Armonk community to potential residents and families. 

The Sales Director (Director of Community Relations)  will ideally have sales or business development experience in an assisted living, healthcare, hospitality or similar environment. The talented sales professional placed in this role should possess excellent knowledge of the industry and be able to market our extraordinary assisted living residences to the surrounding community. This position will require both inside sales and outreach to the community to generate leads and new business referral sources. Knowledge of referral sources in your geographical area preferred. This position will be 80% Inside Sales and 20% Outreach (One day per week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet all visitors in a warm, friendly manner.
  • Answer inquiry calls in a professional manner with the objective to obtain the most information about the caller and to schedule a visit to the community.
  • Team with the Executive Director to create an effective resident referral program, which turns referrals to residents.
  • Takes prospective Residents and/or families on a visit of the community. Appointments are expected to be pre-planned and well thought out.
  • Understand the REPS system and maintain active prospects database.
  • Liaison between the Bristal and community referral sources.
  • Follow the sales training system using the sheets found in sales training manual on public files.
  • Regular follow up with prospective residents, making a minimum number of outgoing calls per day with the goal of scheduling an appointment to visit the community.
  • Regular follow up with referral sources. Must allocate one day for outreach per week. Outreach will include doctors, elder law attorneys, hospitals, rehabs, and the like.
  • Completion of all required move in paperwork and the collection of rent monies prior to resident move-in.
  • Assist new resident to get acclimated into the community upon move in.
  • Manage all marketing inventory as directed.
  • Create and/or Host Marketing/Sales events.
  • Frequent and on-going networking with outside referral sources.
  • Belong to and attend, SUN (Senior Umbrella Network) and one additional local Community Associations each month with the purpose to attain leads that visit the community each month.
  • Oversee accuracy of available apartment inventory.
  • Maintaining weekly traffic and census reports.
  • Complete a weekly outreach report.
  • Complete quarterly marketing strategy and competitive analysis reports.
  • Such reports are to be distributed to the Executive Director, Senior Vice President of Operations and VP of Marketing in the requisite interval.
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • Sales or business development experience in an assisted living, healthcare, hospitality or similar environment preferred
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Must have the ability to “close" the deal
  • Top notch prospecting, networking, relationship building and new business development skills
  • Ability to sell in a consultative manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to communicate with and relate to people of varying age groups and backgrounds
  • Professional image and an eye for excellence in detail
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to relate well to the senior population.
  • Great organizational skills with the ability to concentrate on many tasks at once
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
  • Must be a Notary Public or commitment to obtain license within 6 months of hire
  • Patience, perseverance and follow-through
  • Ability to work one weekend day a week- preferably a Tuesday through Saturday schedule

Compensation includes a base salary, bonus structure based on sales objectives and a comprehensive benefits package to include: Medical, Dental, 401K, Bonuses and more.
