JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our Corporate Marketing Department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to work closely alongside the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Director, and the rest of the Marketing Department in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our company’s brands while learning about marketing strategies used to reach the professional community, healthcare professionals, senior living industry, and the public at large.  
 
The Corporate Marketing Department at Ultimate Care Assisted Living Management is responsible for the marketing of all of The Bristal Assisted Living communities, as well as other Engel Burman Group properties. Our office is located in Bohemia, NY.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be enrolled in a four-year academic institution studying Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Sales, or other related fields.**
2. Currently in or entering your Junior or Senior year, preferred.
3. Strong writing, grammar, and proof-reading abilities.
4. Detail oriented and well organized.
5. Strong problem solving, and conflict resolution skills. 
6. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines.
7. Excellent verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and take initiative on own projects. 
9. Have an innovative mindset and always looking for new ways to leverage the brand.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Help the VP of Marketing and Marketing Director with day-to-day responsibilities, as needed.
2. Monitor social channels and respond to client feedback.
3. Aid in the creation of promotional advertisements such as blogs and articles.
4. Assist in planning, development, and hosting of marketing events.
5. Update community galleries, media campaigns, testimonials, website content, and social media presence.
6. Perform administrative work, as needed.
